Welcome to the bar
Classic cocktails with a twist. Craftsmanship and quality are A and O in the bar at Hooks Herrgård. Here, drinks, wine, bubbles, and the manor's own beer varieties are offered, as well as a simpler food menu. Sit down in comfortable sofa groups, relax, and enjoy something nice in your glass.
Often, guests come in during the afternoon after the conference or round of golf. Nowadays, most stop by the bar for a pre-dinner drink. After dinner, the lounges invite you to a lovely evening hangout. Of course, the bar is also open to anyone who wants to drop by, even if you are not staying at the hotel.
Bar Menu
The bar offers drinks, wine, bubbly, the manor's own types of beer, and a simpler food menu.
The most common drink order at the bar is a gin & tonic, and it fits well that more than 20 types of gin are available, including gin from Lydén Distillery in nearby Ljungby.
Other favorites are the manor's signature cocktails, including the cocktail Passion – a creamy drink with passion fruit puree, lemon, and elderflower liqueur. When a guest orders a Passion, it always leads to several other guests ordering the same.
The estate's own beer
For several years now, Hooks Herrgård has also taken pride in being able to offer its own beer, and therefore it is extra fun to have established a collaboration with Wetterstadens brewery, which is located just a few kilometers from Hook. Right now, there are three different beers with Hooks Herrgård's own label: Lager, IPA, and Pale Ale. All three are good beers that go very well to drink both on their own and with food.
