Can't we just charge all cars at the same time? Unfortunately not. At least not with full power since each property has a service cable that limits the available power, making it technically impossible. Moreover, the outlet is affected by what happens in the property throughout the day. And of course, how many cars are charging.
Our smart software optimizes and distributes available charging power based on the number of connected cars, departure times, the cars' charging capacity, and the desired charging. Those who need to leave first get charged first, while those who stay longer are charged later. But everyone gets to share in the charging, even if we cannot guarantee that your car will be fully charged by departure.
“We have installed 25 outlets, distributed among some 7kwh and the rest 22 kwh, to meet today’s and tomorrow's needs. Hooks Herrgård, with roots dating back to the 1300s, has a limitation on how much power is available for electric car charging. ChargeNode was the obvious choice. Besides being more efficient, it blends in significantly better with our beautiful outdoor environment. We chose to mount the outlets in a granite beam,” comments Hans Edberg, CEO of Hooks Herrgård.
