Christmas is special to us, and we would be very happy if you want to celebrate it with us. The Edberg family has welcomed Christmas guests to Hooks Herrgård for over half a century, and we can promise you a festive Christmas with plenty of good food, caring family atmosphere, and service. Our goal is for you to feel at home, but without all the stress and hassle of organizing the celebration yourself.
Christmas at Hooks Herrgård is celebrated in a traditional spirit and is infused with relaxation. We want to take care of you, with good food and a wonderful environment. The Christmas celebration at the manor is suitable for everyone – whether you want to celebrate Christmas on your own or with loved ones. So, welcome to a joyful, warm Christmas holiday – without obligations.
We offer three different packages during the Christmas holiday, all of which can be booked for two or three days. Or four and five for that matter.
Christmas Package Without Spa
Christmas package for the whole family, starting from lunchtime with afternoon tea on December 23rd and ending after breakfast after two or three nights. During the weekend, there is plenty of time to socialize in our atmospheric lounges, we will have a visit from Santa and enjoy delicious food with the flavors of Christmas.

Christmas Package with Spa 14-17
Christmas package for the whole family, where children from 5 years old are welcome in the spa at selected times during the holiday. The program starts on December 23 with lunch and afternoon tea, followed by spa from 14:00 to 17:00 to settle down and feel the tranquility. The holiday offers time for each other and good food with the flavors of Christmas, the package ends after breakfast after two or three nights.

Christmas Package with Spa 17-20
Christmas package for the whole family, where children from 5 years old are welcome in the spa at selected times during the Christmas holiday. The program starts on December 23 with lunch and afternoon tea, followed by spa from 17:00 to 20:00 to unwind and feel the calm. The Christmas holiday offers time for each other and good food with the flavors of Christmas; the package concludes after breakfast following two or three nights.

With our Christmas package including spa access, you can relax in our soothing pools, enjoy our sauna experiences and explore our experience showers throughout your stay.

If you arrive on 23 December, you can choose between two spa sessions: 2:00–5:00 PM or 5:00–8:00 PM, allowing you to select the time that suits you best.
Spa opening hours during Christmas
23 December: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM (minimum age 15)
Christmas Eve, 24 December: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM (children aged 5 and above are welcome throughout)
Christmas Day, 25 December: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (children aged 5 and above are welcome from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM; minimum age 15 at other times)
Boxing Day, 26 December: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM (children aged 5 and above are welcome from 9:00–11:00 AM; minimum age 15 at other times)
Gym opening hours: 6:30 AM–10:00 PM daily.

Your hotel room is guaranteed to be ready for check-in from 3:00 PM (1:30 PM if you have booked spa access from 2:00 PM). Check-out is no later than 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
Next to the gym, you’ll find Lotus, our new yoga studio – a peaceful oasis where we offer yoga, meditation, core training and Pilates on selected mornings. When no classes are scheduled, the studio becomes a tranquil retreat for complete relaxation, with soothing views and direct access to Utsikten – our beautiful outdoor deck offering panoramic views of Lake Hokasjön.
Between the spa and restaurant, you’ll discover Barbros Roséträdgård – an elegant and harmonious setting where you can enjoy a drink, a meal or simply savour the moment.
For even greater comfort, we now offer drinks served directly to your relaxation spot. Simply place your order using the QR codes available at the outdoor spring and relaxation area. Food is served in the Spa Bar or Barbros Roséträdgård, while drinks and snacks can be delivered directly to where you are relaxing.

Yes, of course Santa Claus will be visiting Hooks Herrgård! If everything goes according to plan, he will arrive on Christmas Eve at 5:00 PM.
Please leave one wrapped Christmas present per child at reception before lunchtime, so it can be placed in Santa’s sack.
Yes, on Christmas Eve, we would like to create an extra special and elegant atmosphere, so the dress code is dark suit (formal attire)
Well in advance of your arrival, you will receive a welcome email with a form where you can sign up for the Christmas morning church service.
Please check with everyone in your party beforehand to ensure that the correct number of people are registered.
The package includes a welcome drink on 23 December and a wine pairing with dinner on Christmas Eve. Non-alcoholic alternatives are also available.
Yes, we kindly ask you to inform us of any food allergies or special dietary requirements no later than 14 days before arrival.
